TAOISM ☯

NOTHING IS DONE , YET NOTHING IS LEFT UNDONE

                                                                                            - Lao Tzu

Intro:

  • Hey, people I am posting a blog after a long time. This time we will learn about Taoism, one of the famous religions that originated in China. It was created by Lao Tzu. To tell about the religion I asked for help from my friend who follows this religion his name is Raj Motish he agreed to write the script for this blog then he wrote the whole script now we dive into the flow. To know more about Taoism I will give you a telegram link it will have 30 ideas or rules split into a 30-day challenge you can study one per day and follow it in your life check out the channel after reading it.

Actual intro:

Nature never fails to surprise us. Taoists had found something incredible about the nature of things that endures, flows, and penetrates us ( literally everything). Before understanding the finding of the ancients, let us get into a brief intro to Taoism.
Taoism is one of the most celebrated religions in the world and originated in China by a legendary sage, "Lao Tzu" around 500 BC. At first, Originally it was a book named," Tao Te Ching " written by Lao Tzu. This book consists of 81 chapters and has over 5000 Chinese characters Then its ideologies give rise to a new religion that now we call "Taoism". 'Tao Te Ching' can be carefully translated as 'The Book of the Way'. The most interesting thing is," What differentiates Taoism from the rest of the religions?"

Well... Religions in Western or Indian culture instruct us to cultivate good and destroy bad. But, Taoism
works in a non-dualistic framework.

The Principle and Foundations of Tao:

Tao- ''The Way or the vital force or energy which operates the universe. Ancestor and mother of all things."

1. The Yin-Yang ☯

  • We are all familiar with the yin-yang symbol. This symbol was constructed concerning Taoism. The yin-yang represents the coexistence of things with opposite natures. The yin becomes the yang and the yang becomes the yin and again it gives rise to the yang. Likewise, night and day. The same thing is to be understood for bad and good, cold and hot, soft and hard, dark and light, and so forth. The main saying is, one doesn't exist without the other. i.e., good doesn't exist without bad. which has been explained in the second chapter of the book, Tao Te Ching. It denotes that we have to accept both good and evil equally without being partial to attain harmony with nature.

2. The Wu-Wei principle

  • The most basic foundation of Tao is the principle called "Wu-Wei". It can be translated as " effortless action". Rather than stressing things out, we can give them some time to cure by themselves. By Doing Nothing!
  • When we look more closely into the above assertion, we may find it obvious in most cases but it works anytime. That's what Lao Tzu says, "There is a time for motion and time for stillness". Because the force is within us and the only way to realize is to do nothing! we have to let our intuitive intelligence(Naturally given to all beings) respond and guide our actions.

3. My Three Treasures

"Simplicity, Patience, and compassion. These are the three treasures that I hold and cherish."

- Lao Tzu

  • Simplicity makes me royal, Patience leads me to act timely, and compassion towards others gives me courage.

The Conclusion

Wait! But does it works?

Most people find the sayings of Tao absurd, illogical, and non-attainable. But we'll feel sorry for those people at a later time. Now let's learn its mechanism. At first, everything(things mentioned in "Tao Te Ching") may seem pointless, invalid, or whatever. People often ask, 'Do I have to celebrate my loss as same as I suppose to celebrate my win?' My answer to those questions is simply," You don't understand it well enough." Because it's all about letting go. Letting go of everything. Traveling with joy without focussing on the destination. Working with dedication without caring for an achievement. Keeping things without ruining them. And even things we see as good may give rise to evil. That's why, "Give evil nothing to oppose and it will disappear by itself ".Even a loss can be turned into a profit. Soft and weak win over hard and strong. Without pain, there will be no philosophy. So never try to judge things and let them be in their nature.

You can lose by gaining and gain by losing

WHY ARE AURORA VISIBLE IN NORTH AND SOUTH POLE ONLY ?

Hello People, Aurora is a beautiful phenomenon in nature and in physics, most of them know how aurora appears in short due to the charged particle emitted by the sun in the direction of the earth which in turn is endowed with the magnetic field of its own Now we can see why it is happening when the aurora reaches the earth, they get concentrated near the poles because of the strong axial magnetic field there. In another region of the earth, the magnetic field is weaker and so the aurora does not form although the emission of solar wind particles takes place uniformly Credit: rawpixel

MOONQUAKE

What is Moonquake? Definition Hello People, Moonquake is similar to an earthquake but it lasts for a long time up to 10 minutes. The causes of earthquake  movement in the tectonic plate but on the moon it is totally different mechanisms Types & Causes Meteoritic impacts Thermal quake Shallow quake 1. Meteoritic impacts It is caused due to the strike of meteoroids hitting the surface of the moon   2. Thermal quakes It is caused by the expansion of frigid crust by the sun's heat at 280degree C for two weeks and cool during lunar nights It is called deep quakes about 700Km below the surface  3. Shallow quake The shallow quakes happen at 20-30Km from the surface  According to NASA, the cool and rigid body of the moon is the reason for the moon quake  It lasts for a long time up to 10 min     "Moon quake set the moon to vibrate like a tuning fork" it is NASA 'S note on the moon quake  🌑 According to the apollo seismic network recorded 28 shallow q...
